Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says we’ll need stronger screening measures in place at the border crossings in Niagara and across the rest of the country.
This would help deal with an anticipated increase in cross border traffic, as more businesses reopen in Canada and the United States.
The border closed to non-essential traffic back in March.
Trudeau won’t say if he’s expecting it to reopen, once the deal expires May 21st.
