The Town of Pelham is marking Pride Month by installing two benches in prominent locations.
The benches will be located in Peace Park behind Town Hall and at the Meridian Community centre.
"I was proud to raise the Pride flag on June 1, and I am proud to unveil these two new benches to celebrate Pride and the LGBTQ+ community," said Mayor Marvin Junkin. "Council approved these two benches earlier this spring, and I am pleased to see them now being installed in spaces that are available to everyone in our community."
The benches will be unveiled at a small event at noon on June 25th.
