The Town of Fort Erie has a new CAO.
Mayor Wayne Redekop has announced Chris McQueen, the Vice President of Operations at Vineland Research & Innovation Centre, has been appointed to the role.
McQueen brings over 20 years of municipal experience as a City Councilor, Chief Administrative Officer and has held several management roles within the Niagara Region.
He also previously founded and operated Disruptive Ideology Inc., a firm that provided management consulting services to municipal, health care and not-for-profit sectors.
McQueen will take over the position from Interim CAO Jonathan Janzen on May 2nd.
"The position of CAO is not only extremely demanding, it is paramount to how our Town functions," said Mayor Wayne Redekop. "We are confident that Chris will meet the position’s demands and bring a fresh perspective to the Town of Fort Erie."
