One person was treated for smoke inhalation following a blaze in Welland.
Around 9:42 this morning, Welland Fire and Emergency Services attended a fire on McMaster Avenue near River Road.
When crews arrived, three residents of the home were outside.
The flames occurred in the kitchen of a second floor unit of the home.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze.
Damage is estimated around $50,000, with the kitchen sustaining most of the harm.
The cause remains under investigation.
