Another chance for St. Catharines residents to apply for grant money supporting neighbourhood projects and events.
The city says applications are being accepted for the third round of the Neighbourhood Micro Grants program, following a successful second round. Up to $1,500 is available, applications accepted from July to September 30th, for projects taking place between December 1st and May 31st of next year.
The city encourages people to apply for neighbourhood picnics or potlucks, community workshops that promote skill-sharing, or neighbourhood events such as food drives.
To qualify, groups must include at least three people from different households, events must be free and open to the public, and can be a series of events within a month.
