Woman accused of sex trafficking a teenage girl.
A St. Catharines woman has been arrested in connection to a human trafficking case involving a teenage girl.
Niagara Regional Police say 38 year old Tasha Lynn Summers was arrested earlier today.
The investigation involved offences that occurred earlier this month, and the victim is a female in her late teens.
The victim is now in a place of safety.
Summers faces numerous charges, including Trafficking in Persons Under the Age of 18 and Material Benefit from Sexual Service Provided by Person Under 18.
A video bail hearing will take place later today.
