St. Catharines Prepares for Fall Tree Giveaway and Rain Barrel Sale

You will have to order online first if you want to take advantage of the fall Tree Giveaway and Rain Barrel sale in St. Catharines.

The city has decided to move the event partially online due to the pandemic.

You have to purchase your barrel or pre-select the tree you want online first.

The barrels cost $40 each and there is a limit of two per household.

There are four different types of trees up for grabs; blackgum, sugar maple, Princeton elm and nannyberry.

Once your order has been placed you will have to pick it up at the Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre on Saturday October 17th.

You'll have to book a timeslot sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
