After over a month of layoffs St. Catharines GM workers will finally be able to return to the job.
A strike from their U.S. counterparts which started on September 20th caused hundreds of layoffs.
The United Auto Workers announced yesterday that a deal was made and the strike is over.
In exchange for bonuses and raises the union promised not to block plans to shut down four facilities across the U.S.
With the end of the strike over 48-thousand employees in the U.S. and Canada will be returning to work as soon as possible.
