Environment Canada says it'll start tonight, gradually dying down this weekend
More snow is coming this weekend to parts of Niagara.
Environment Canada has placed a snow squall watch on Niagara Falls, Welland and the southern part of the region, starting tonight and lasting to tomorrow.
It also notes about 15 to 25cms of snow could fall from Port Colborne, and east along the Lake Erie shoreline, reducing visibility as the wind reaches 50 to 70kms an hour.
Meanwhile, across the Niagara River into the Buffalo area, the National Weather Service calling for about 9 inches of snow for Northern Erie and Genesee County, starting tonight and lasting to Sunday.
