Charges laid, license suspensions issued
Sixteen people are facing charges following R.I.D.E spot checks.
Niagara police say the checks occurred between July 5th and July 18th.
The individuals include two people from Fort Erie, 6 from the Falls, and four from St. Catharines.
One person from Brampton, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Welland and Thorold were also charged.
Police have also issued a 90 day license suspension for each individual.
