Investigation closed Lundy's Lane between Kalar and Garner for hours
The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the police discharge of a taser this morning in an incident on Lundy's Lane
The SIU says officers on patrol saw a driver flee after a vehicle hit the curb.
A taser was deployed and the man was apprehended.
However, the 43 year old man became unresponsive and officers administered Narcan as well as performed CPR.
The suspect was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The SIU is urging anyone who may have information about this investigation to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529.
The Unit is also urging anyone who may have any video evidence related to this incident to upload that video through the SIU website.
