One person has died and 21 others were injured after shots were fired in Kansas City.
KANSAS CITY - Shots were fired during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl celebration.
Police say the mass shooting left one person dead and 21 others injured yesterday. The person who died was a local radio station host, and eight of the people who were injured were children.
Several videos show people at the parade taking down the shooting suspect until police arrived on scene. Three people are now in custody.
In a statement released last night, the Kansas City Chiefs stated that they're saddened by this senseless act of violence and their hearts go out to all of the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City.
It also confirmed that all of the Chiefs players, coaches, staff, and their family members are safe and accounted for.
