Police say 17-year old suspect, a student of the high school, also hurt 5 others
Another tragedy at a US school, this time in Iowa.
A sixth-grader is dead, and five other students and a school principal are hurt after a 17-year-old opened fire at a high school in Perry, about 65 kilometres northwest of Des Moines.
Authorities say the suspect, also a student at Perry High School, was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
There is no possible motive yet, but police are looking into the suspect's social media history, and two friends have described him as a quiet person who had been bullied for years.
