Niagara Health site closes at 1:00 this afternoon
Niagara Health's long running vaccine clinic at the Seymour Hannah Arena in St. Catharines will be closing its doors in a few hours.
The clinic which administered thousands of vaccines to front line health workers and more recently to Niagara residents officially closes at 1:00 this afternoon.
Niagara Health will open a new smaller clinic at the St. Catharines hospital starting August 17th.
The clinic will be located in the Mental Health Outpatient clinic at the hospital and will operate 7 days a week from 8am to 4 pm offering both walk in and booked appointments.
Officials say the clinic will administer the Pfizer Vaccine.
NH officials also remind residents the St. Catharines site COVID-19 assessment centre also closed today and will reopen tomorrow at GHGH in Niagara Falls.
Operating hours will be from 8 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week.
