Niagara Public Health is reporting 79 new cases of the virus today, and no new deaths.
Our death toll is currently at 99, and there are 47 people battling COVID-19 in our local hospitals.
There are 622 active cases and 22 active outbreaks in the region.
Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Fort Erie have the highest numbers of cases in the region.
The province reported 2408 new cases today.
Toronto had 629, Peel had 448, Windsor-Essex County had 234, York Region had 190, and Hamilton had 150.
