The man convicted in the 2018 Toronto van attack will discover his fate next year.
Earlier this year, Alek Minassian was found guilty on ten charges of first degree murder and 16 counts of attempted murder in connection to the incident.
The judge is awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court about serving murder sentences consecutively, after the provision was found unconstitutional by an appeal court in a different case.
Sentencing is now slated to proceed on January 11th, 2022.
