Police say the 79-year old man has died

Police say the man has died at hospital.
They're still looking for witnesses, and if you have video of the accident to call police.
Original Story:
A 79-year old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a car in Niagara Falls last night.
Police were called just before 7 to the McLeod and Dorchester Road area.
They found the man was crossing the road, when a 62-year old driving the Audi Q3 on Dorchester made a turn to drive on McLeod, but hit the pedestrian.
Police say the pedestrian was taken to an out of region hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone with video of the scene to call them.
