Six locations around Niagara
Niagara Region Public Health and Niagara Regional Police Service invite all residents to drop off old and unused prescription drugs at participating locations across the region this Saturday to mark Prescription Drug Drop-Off Day.
The day runs from 10:00 to 3:00 at six different locations.
All prescription drugs collected will be destroyed.
Regional officials remind us that flushing prescription drugs down the toilet or sink or disposing of them in the garbage or recycling is harmful to the environment.
