Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade to be held November 13th.
Santa Claus is coming to town!
The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade will be held this year on November 13th.
Festivities will kick off at 4:00 p.m. on Victoria Avenue near Jepson and Armoury Streets, before heading northbound to Queen Street and then to City Hall.
Amanda MacDonald, Executive Director for the Downtown Niagara Falls Association, says festival goers will see a traditional, pre-pandemic style of parade with lots of fun.
"Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting us, we'll have giant inflatables, and lots of acts like fire throwers, jugglers and people on stilts."
Attendees will need to wear a mask along the parade route and socially distance as much as possible.
MacDonald also notes masks will be handed out.
After the parade, a tree lighting ceremony will be held to kickoff this year's Christmas Market, which runs Fridays to Sundays until December 19th.
MacDonald says this year's Market will feature over 50 vendors, live music, the Winter Festival of Lights and more.
