The Niagara Region is making changes to it's transportation policies, in order to encourage healthier and more vibrant communities.
Council approved Regional Official Plan Amendment 13 last week, which looks to improve the overall design of new neighbourhoods and advance active transportation networks (ex: walking and cycling.)
The update also advances interconnected public transit systems, and efficient goods movement networks
ROPA 13 has been sent to the province, for final approval from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
