It certainly was a memorable season for the Fort Erie Race Track.
The track was closed to fans due to the pandemic but it was still a record year for wagering with $40.2-million wagered over 39 race days.
This was up significantly from the previous season, which brought in $29.9-million over 40 race days.
The race track was also able to make it through its 123rd season without a single case of COVID.
It has applied for a 40-day season for next year, which would begin June 1st and end on October 19th.
