Government concerned about possible Listeria contamination
Better check your fridge for a certain brand of cheese that's been recalled due to possible Listeria contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Igor brand Gorgonzola mild ripened blue-veined cheese was sold in 350-gram packages with a best-before date of February 1st, 2023.
It was sold in Ontario and Quebec, but no reported illness to date.
Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
