The province confirms 1,290 patients hospitalized with the virus, but the number is expected to be higher since over ten percent of hospitals don't submit data on weekends.
There are also 266 ICU patients battling COVID-19.
Over 27.5 million vaccinations have been administered to date.
About 90.9 percent of Ontarians 12 and older have one shot and 88.2 percent have two.
