Niagara Falls city councillor says it's pretty bad at the CN tracks near St. Antoine church
A Niagara Falls city councillor says, for him, it's the talk of the town wherever he goes.... a huge dip in Portage Road at the CN rail tracks near St. Antoine church.
Chris Dabrowski told council it's like a journey to the centre of the earth.
Manager of Municipal Works Erik Nickel says they're aware of the whole road. "We know the rest of Portage Road, up to Thorold Stone Road, is not in great shape, and that's a planned project for this year. We'll go back and communicate with CN and determine who the responsibility lies with, and we'll make sure those repairs are prioritized."
Mayor Jim Diodati agreed the dip is bad, wondering if something has happened to the area.
