A grant from the Canadian Experiences Fund will allow the City of Port Colborne to make improvements to a local attraction.
This is just one investment being offered to help tourism projects in Canada.
The City is using the funds to provide several upgrades at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park, including restoration of the Cenotaph, the planting of new trees and improvements to the asphalt walkway around the park.
City staff have also used the money to correct damages to trees, poles and playground equipment following a storm that occurred on October 31st, 2019.
