Port Colborne is one step closer to implementing a new Strategic Plan for the next five years.
Council decided to approve a framework for the plan Monday night and staff will now be able to present a draft plan before the end of the year.
The plan is going to highlight six main pillars and they are as follows;
- Quality and Innovative Delivery of Public Services
- Strong Financial Management to Achieve Financial Sustainability
- City Wide Infrastructure Investments
- Attracting Business Investments and Tourists to Port Colborne
- Supporting and Investing in Human Capital
- Building Trust and Confidence Through Good Governance.
The city staff decided on the pillars during several roundtable discussions that were held last year and early this year.
