With the province entering step one of the re-opening plan, pools in Pelham and the Falls will re-open tomorrow.
F.H. Leslie pool on Valley Way in the Falls will re-open this weekend, and will be open from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The following activities have been scheduled for the weekend.
- 12 to 1 p.m.: Adult Lane Swim
- 1 to 2:50 p.m.: Public Swim
- 2:50 to 3 p.m.: CLOSED for cleaning and sanitization
- 3 to 4:50 p.m.: Public Swim
- 4:50 to 5 p.m.: CLOSED for cleaning and sanitization
- 5 to 6 p.m.: Public Swim
For the adult lane swim, you'll need to call 905-356-7521 extension 4138 book your lane a day in advance, and lanes will be available for 30 minute blocks.
In Pelham, the Pelham Pool at Marlene Stewart Streit Park will open tomorrow, and you'll need to register for lane swim here.
Families can book swim time at 905-892-9696, and registration for lessons starts this Monday.
You'll need to arrive in your bathing suit, as the poolhouse and change rooms will be closed.
Washrooms on the outside of the building near the skate park will be open.
