NRP says 4 were fatal
A staggering number of drug overdoses in the Niagara region revealed by police.
The force says within a 72-hour period this past weekend, it responded 4 suspected fatal overdoses, and 20 suspected non-fatal overdoses.
The NRP adds street drugs could contain other drugs that appear legitimate, but the user may not know that before it's too late.
Police add they are committed to fighting the trafficking of dangerous substances like opioids in the community.
