They say a woman in her 50s claimed she was assaulted in St. Catharines
Niagara Regional Police detectives are investigating a sexual assault.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area of Glendale Avenue and Kerr Street in St. Catharines between 12:45 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. on Saturday to check their video surveillance footage.
Police say a woman in her 50s reported she had been sexually assaulted by two men in that area of the city. The suspects fled on foot.
The woman returned home and called the police. She was not able to describe the suspects. A search of the area failed to turn up the suspects.
