Police in Niagara are on the hunt for a bank robbery suspect.
Around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, police were called to the TD Canada Trust location on Portage Road in the Town and Country plaza in Niagara Falls.
Investigators say a man entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding cash.
The suspect was given an unspecified amount of money and ran off, heading towards Thorold Stone Road.
No weapon was seen, but the suspect said he had one.
Police say nobody was injured.
The suspect is described as:
- Latino male
- Black curly hair
- Slender build
- 5’5 feet tall
- Approximately 20-25 years
The suspect was wearing:
- Black mask
- Blue "Champion" base ball hat
- Black pants
- Black and grey striped hooded sweater
- Black gloves
- Black shoes
