They say another man was shot

Police say Samuel Sawyer was arrested yesterday by Six Nations police.
He was returned to Niagara, and had a bail hearing today.

Police are looking for a Fort Erie man after another man was shot overnight.
Officers were called at around 1:30 this morning to a home on Niagara Boulevard, between Bertie and Murray Streets, to find a 27-year old man with a gunshot to the lower body.
He remains in stable condition in hospital.
Police learned there was a fight between the two men outside the house, leading to the victim being shot.
Police are looking for 28-year old Samuel Sawyer, wanted for:
- Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound
- Aggravated Assault
- Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm knowingly not holding a license
- Mischief Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
Police also believe this shooting was targeted, but still ask the public to remain vigilant.
