A man with a gunshot would attempted to break into a St. Catharines home to seek shelter.
Earlier today, officers were called to the intersection of Haight Street and Disher Street in response to the incident.
The homeowner called 911, and the 45 year old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The police believe this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to the public.
