Five suspects remain on the loose
Police are trying to identify a group of suspects after a couple of flags were damaged in Beamsville.
Yesterday, officers attended Trinity United Church on William Street.
Investigators say around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night, the Canadian flag and Pride flag were damaged.
The rope to the flag post had been cut, and the Pride flag was ripped up.
Video footage showed five people on the property, three of which were seen at the flagpole.
Nearby residents with dashcams or security cameras are asked to review footage taken from 9:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on May 27th.
Anyone with information is asked to call Niagara Regional Police at 1-800-222-8477.
