The NRP was called to a Niagara Falls mall over the weekend concerning a smell coming from a business
Police have taken apart a secret drug lab in Niagara Falls, and charged a local man with drug trafficking.
Police showed up early Saturday afternoon to a mall in the Portage Road and Colborne Street area, after a business reported a smell coming from a neighbouring business.
Once the fire department found the hidden lab, police used a search warrant the next day and found:
- 1,020.4 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine (Value: $18,000)
- 84.4 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine (Value: $8400)
- 73.2 grams of suspected Cocaine (Value: $7300)
- 15.9 grams of suspected MDMA (Value: $160)
- $10,530 in Canadian Currency
Yesterday police charged 32-year old Kristopher Burnett-Ackerman, who remained in police custody pending a bail hearing today.

- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Crack Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA)
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
