Woman charged with mischief after telling police she was stopped by a man posing as an officer
A Niagara Falls resident has been arrested for mischief.
On Monday night, police received a call about a man posing as a police officer on Drummond Road near Prospect Street.
The caller told police that a black vehicle activated emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop.
Investigators say security footage was received by nearby residents and businesses.
The complainant was interviewed a second time yesterday, at which time officers determined the story was fabricated.
Facing charges is 21 year old Emily Celeste Bojcic.
She has been released on a Form 9 Appearance Notice and will appear in court on May 10th.
