A man has been charged following a theft in Thorold.
Around 5:35 PM on Saturday, officers were alerted to a break and enter in progress near Front Street North and Regent Street.
Upon arrival, police were directed to a fenced compound where two suspects were seen looking at cars.
Officers climbed the fence and found one of the suspects hiding under a car.
He was found to be holding two catalytic converters, which were determined to be missing from two of the cars in the compound.
Thirty-five year old Pavel Vakoulich of no fixed address was charged with Break and Enter.
The identity of the second suspect remains unknown.
