Poilievre says MPs who met with a far-right German politician were not aware of her views
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is sticking up for three MPs who recently met with a far-right German politician.
Poilievre told reporters that MPs Dean Allison, Leslyn Lewis and Colin Carrie will remain in caucus.
The trio came under fire for meeting with Christine Anderson, a member of the European Parliament who represents the Alternative for Germany party.
Her party has been under surveillance as a suspected extremist group and has spoken out against immigration.
Poilievre says the MPs were not aware of her politics.
