Niagara Parks police say the thefts happened at Table Rock Centre, also Queen Victoria Park, they arrested a pair from Quebec
A reminder from Niagara Parks police to stay vigilant, and aware of surroundings, after two people were caught pick pocketing.
Police say on Saturday an elderly man was waiting in line at the zipline in Queen Victoria Park, when he realized he had been robbed.
Police made a connection with this case to an August 2025 theft at Table Rock Centre, but no suspects had been identified.
A coordinated response was developed, and on Sunday, plain clothed police officers found two suspects, and watched what appeared to be an attempted theft of a woman's wallet.
Police closed in, and arrested a man and woman from Quebec, finding they've travelled Ontario, staying for short times and relying on delayed reporting.
They've been charged with theft, and unauthorized use of credit card.
