The Town of Pelham is mourning the loss of Mike Ciolfi.
He was the Ward 1 Councillor and he was first elected back in 2018.
He was a member of the Beautification Committee, the Meridian Community Centre Hospitality Committee and the Cannabis Control Committee.
Mayor Marvin Junkin says Ciolfi was an extraordinary person and he will be missed.
“Our community’s light has dimmed as a result of Mike’s passing, but he will brighten our future as he watches over us. Mike showed us all that hard work, perseverance, and compassion go a long way in this world, and I hope that every life he touched remembers his lessons and guidance.”
Junkin is sending his condolences to Ciolfi’s friends and family.
Ciolfi was in his early 50s and there’s no word on his cause of death at this time.
The flags at town facilities will fly at half-mast for the next week.
