No arrests made
No arrests were made during a R.I.D.E. check in St. Catharines last night.
The check took place at the intersection of Burleigh Drive and Dalecrest Avenue.
Officers stopped over 250 vehicles and asked drivers if they used alcohol or drugs before getting behind the wheel.
Four drivers were asked to take a breathalyzer test.
Two tickets were issued, one for unnecessary noise and the other to a driver who didn't have a muffler.
Police say impaired driving kills more Canadians than any other crime.
