Union President Harvey Bischof says it will provide stability in Ontario’s schools, even though the union did not get everything it wanted.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce says it advances the priorities of teachers and parents.
The union’s 60,000 members could vote on the deal early next month.
It represents high school teachers in the District School Board of Niagara.
