The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is issuing a warning to motorcyclists.
So far this year, the OPP has already responded to four fatal motorcycle crashes.
Riders and other motorists are being urged to exercise caution on the roads.
In each case, OPP report that excessive speed and failure to yield right-of-way were contributing factors.
May marks Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, and Chief Superintendent/Commander, OPP Highway Safety Division Rohan Thompson has a few safety tips.
"Aggressive and careless driving have no place on our roads, especially where motorcycles are involved. The OPP urges motorcyclists and other drivers to share the road safely and be alert. Motorcyclists are reminded to always ride responsibly, sober and drug-free, and to make themselves visible to other motorists."
Last year, 42 motorcyclists were killed on OPP-patrolled roads, and only 5 of those collisions involved other vehicles.
In 2019, there were 27 fatalities.
