Five people killed in four separate road incidents during the Thanksgiving long weekend.
The OPP is reporting five road fatalities over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Officers say three motor vehicle passengers, one driver and one pedestrian were killed in four separate incidents.
During the Operation Impact campaign, over 5,100 speeding charges were laid, as well as 116 stunt/racing charges.
There were also 318 seatbelt infractions, and 153 people were charged for driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
In addition, 69 notices were issued for distracted driving.
Over 8,000 charges were laid on roads, trails and waterways in Ontario.
The OPP is also reporting one boating fatality.
