Masks to remain mandatory in long-term care and retirement homes
Ontario will lift most masking requirements June 11 including on public transit and hospitals.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore will keep the masking mandate in place at long-term care and retirement homes.
The province says masks are still strongly recommended' in high-risk congregate settings like group homes and shelters
Ontario lifted most masking mandates March 21st.
Moore said in a news release that most remaining mask mandates will end on June 11 at 12:00 a.m.
