One Niagara organization will benefit from a $46 million investment the provincial government is making.
The province will be investing the money in the Anti-Human Trafficking Community Support and Indigenous-led Initiatives funds.
The funds will provide support to youth who have been victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
One of the new programs will include the creation of a youth response team at the Ontario Native Women's Association, who has ten locations, including, Niagara, Ottawa and Toronto.
The team will provide street based outreach and early intervention services.
