The province is reporting the largest single day increase in new COVID-19 infections since May.
Ontario's daily COVID-19 case count continues to rise.
Officials reported 2,421 new infections and nine new deaths this morning.
Individuals not fully vaccinated account for 758 of today's new cases, and 133 are in people with an unknown status.
Currently, 328 people are battling the virus in hospital, with 165 in ICUs.
About 86 percent of Ontarians five and older have one vaccination, and 87.7 percent of people 12 and older in the province are double-dosed.
Individuals who are not fully vaccinated represent 23.0% of Ontario’s total population and amount to 758 of Ontario's 2,421 new reported cases. 133 cases are in individuals with an unknown vaccination status.
