A man from Niagara Falls is being treated in hospital for injuries sustained in a motorcycle collision.
Around 6:05 last night, emergency crews were called to the scene of a single motorcycle collision in Pelham.
Investigators determined that a group of motorcycles were traveling northbound on Victoria Avenue near Webber Road, when one of the motorcycles left the roadway and went into a ditch.
The 34 year old driver was treated at the scene for what was initially believed to be life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to a local hospital, then flown by Ornge air ambulance to an out of region trauma centre.
His condition has been upgraded, but he remains in hospital with serious injuries.
The motorcycle, a black 2012 Harley Davidson, was destroyed.
The damage is estimated to be around $20,000.
Victoria Avenue near Webber Road was closed until about 10:25 PM as detectives conducted their investigation.
