Another opportunity for Niagara residents to learn more about how policing is done in the region.
The 3rd Citizen Police Academy is starting in the fall, offering a behind the scenes look at how the NRP does its job.
This is done through hands-on activities, interactive presentations, and discussions with senior officers and civilian members.
The NRP stresses this is not a police training program, but a chance to learn about investigations, traffic enforcement, tactical operations and more.
The 2026 Academy starts in October, exact date to be announced, running every Wednesday night for 8-weeks.
Applications are open how until August 7th, at 6pm.
