A 19-year-old man from Oakville has died after he jumped into the water at the Balls Falls Conservation Area and did not come up for air.
The NRP got the call shortly before 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
The marine unit was able to find the man in the catch pool at the bottom of the falls and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity has not been released.
An investigation is underway and no foul play is suspected.
