Only non-life threatening injuries were reported after a 66-year-old woman was shoved to the ground in Welland.
Police believe two men tried to steal her car keys in the East Main Street and Golden Ave area Friday night, but they took off after a witness stepped in to help her.
Both men are believed to be white, standing at about 5’11 and weighing about 180 pounds.
One is described having a beard while the other was clean shaven.
Both of the men were wearing black hoodies at the time.
Anyone with information should call the NRP.
